J. Robert Gillette
J. Robert (Bob) Gillette is an associate professor of Economics at the University of Kentucky. He teaches both large classes of over 400 students and small classes of 15 to 55 students, and supervisors and mentors teaching assistants. He has served as the co-director of the University of Kentucky Annual Regional Economics Teaching Workshop since 1997 where national teaching and learning specialist present pedagogical ideas. He has given over forty-five presentations and workshops at universities and regional and national conferences. He has been honored with over twenty college and university teaching awards. Gillette received his BA in Economics from the University of Richmond and his PhD from Texas A&M University.
