Tanjula Petty
Tanjula Petty currently serves as the assistant provost of academic affairs for Alabama State University. She first began her career in technical education in 2005 as a retention specialist. Petty has also served in many other roles including Vernon College in Vernon, Texas as the Title III director, Pensacola State College in Pensacola, Fla., as director of quality enhancement plan, and Alabama State University as the director of assessment and director of quality enhancement plan. Additionally, she served as the dean of instruction at Trenholm State Community College in Montgomery, Ala. Petty received a BS in resource management and MS in public administration from Troy State University. She completed her doctoral studies at Alabama State University in educational leadership, policy, and law.
