Ruth Rodgers
Ruth Rodgers has more than 30 years' experience teaching courses in the Ontario colleges and continues to deliver two courses online each term. She is equally engaged in educational development. She developed the first compulsory credit-based college teacher education program in Ontario. She chaired the College Sector Educators Community (a special interest group within the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education/STLHE) and served on the executive of the Educational Developers Caucus, delivering several EDC professional development institutes. Rodgers is also a recipient of the STLHE/CSEC College Educators award. Since her retirement, Rodgers has completed consulting projects with Vancouver Island University, OCAD University, and the University of the Fraser Valley.
Rodgers earned a BA and BEd in English and psychology.
