Barbi Honeycutt is a speaker, scholar, and author. Throughout the past 16 years, she has facilitated more than 3,000 professional development events for more than 15,000 faculty, graduate students, and postdocs around the world. Honeycutt is the founder of FLIP It Consulting in Raleigh, NC, and an adjunct professor. The FLIP means to Focus on your Learners by Involving them in the Process.Prior to launching her own educational consulting business, she was the director of graduate student teaching programs and the director of the center for teaching and learning. Honeycutt has published several articles and books based on her FLIP framework, teaching and learning in higher education, faculty development, and graduate student professional development.
