Heather Moore Roberson, PhD
Heather Moore Roberson is the dean of diversity, equity, and inclusion and associate professor of community & justice studies and Black studies at Allegheny College. She has also served as the college’s inaugural director of faculty diversity & inclusion since 2021. With 15 years of experience as a college professor, Roberson knows that meaningful educational experiences happen when faculty and students are willing to be vulnerable and critically engaged in the active pursuit of lifelong learning. She is the 2020 recipient of the Thoburn Award for Teaching Excellence at Allegheny College. Roberson earned a PhD and MA in American studies from Purdue University and two BAs in education studies and American studies from Trinity College.
