GENERAL INFO

This is a non-disciplinary conference. We welcome educators from all levels and departments to participate.

No. This is a unique conference with proposals specifically submitted to the virtual event.

Live Access: October 22 – 24, 2024
On-Demand: October 25 – January 31, 2025

Both. All of the sessions will be presented live with a synchronous audience, able to interact, answer polling questions, and ask questions. These sessions will be recorded and will be available for all participants to view on-demand for 3 months. You can also register after the live portion takes place and still access the entire conference on-demand.
If you attend the live portion of the conference, you are able to receive a digital badge certifying your attendance to showcase in your resume or portfolio. You will be able to view all of the recorded content for every concurrent, plenary, and poster session. Live & on-demand viewers can also network via the Community link sent to registered attendees via email.

  • Marybeth Gasman is a distinguished professor, and the associate dean for Research in the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University.

  • Jason Gulya is a professor of English at Berkeley College, where he teaches courses ranging from writing and literature to AI-powered communication and social media.

PROPOSAL/PRESENTER INFO

Possibly. The in-person and virtual conferences are completely separate events with separate calls for proposals. If you are already presenting at one, you may submit a still proposal for the other. All proposals will be peer-reviewed separately with acceptance decisions based on factors related to the format and audience of each conference.

All applicants are notified of their status by mid-July via email (you may need to check your spam for missed messages). 

Yes, all presenters must register, but the registration is discounted to $250.00 for speakers and poster presenters.  Please contact Magna, support@magnapubs.com if you are a speaker or poster presenter.
